A Different Perspective on Childhood Obesity

…If we are going to win the war on obesity, we should separate fact from fiction because we need to make sure that we are declaring war on the right culprit.

Although obesity rates are slowly beginning to drop, as a professional dealing with obesity, I happen to believe we have lost the war on obesity. I am saying
that even if the battle has been won, the war has been lost because we have managed to create anxious parents, fearful children, obsessed teens, and people who are fearful of their own desires and biology…
